SCHOLARSHIP

We are proud to offer FOUR different scholarships categories

A total of 7 scholarships ($5,000.00) will be awarded each year.

  1. Scholarship Program for high school graduates (est. 2014) (at least 4 awards for $500.00 each per year)

PASTB Scholarship Fund has been established to allow for our supporters to make donations specific for our scholarship fund.

2. Dr. Bijan Vasigh Scholarship for Political, Economic and Legal Advocacy (est. 2016 and funded by Mr. Maj Vasigh, PA) (one award for $1,000.00 each year)

This scholarship is awarded to a graduate student who wishes to pursue a career in public advocacy.

3. Mr. Homayoun Nikmorad Scholarship for Study of Medicine. (est. 2016 and funded by Dr. Farimah Flechute) (one award for $1,000.00 each year)

SELECTION CRITERIA for PASTB Scholarship Programs:

• Students will be selected based on their GPA, Extra curricular activity, program of study and a narrative. The topic for the narrative will be assigned by the Selection Committee.
• A group of three to five people from the community will be invited by PASTB to review and grade the applications.
